The joint European Headache and Migraine Trust International Congress
2008 will provide participants with the unique opportunity to enjoy
lectures and presentations on a variety of issues relevant to all those
who are involved in migraine and headache research, management and care.
Issues to be addressed at the Congress will include new therapies,
developments in research, and advances in education of both migraine and
headache sufferers and also service providers.
The event will also include a ‘public programme’ where members of the
public will be invited to hear presentations and take part in
discussions, providing valuable insight into the real needs and
expectations of those people who suffer from headaches and migraine.
This is the first jointly chaired Congress. The European Headache
Federation and The Migraine Trust look forward to your participation in
this event, which promises to provide invaluable insights into relevant
trends and learning in the field of migraine and headache research,
education and care.

EUROPEAN HEADACHE FEDERATION
Since
its foundation in 1992, EHF (European Headache Federation), a
non-profit organisation, has sought to
improve life for those affected by headache
in
Europe.
To do so, EHF dedicates its efforts to
improving
awareness of headache disorders
and their impact amongst governments,
health care providers and consumers across
Europe.
One of the main objectives of the EHF is to
educate
Europe
about headache. Our
teaching of key players such as young doctors, neurologists,
general practitioners and all those involved in headache
management is focused on the seriousness of headache disorders.
Within its
federal structure, EHF supports
national headache societies with a specific focus on Eastern
European countries.
